Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager of Collateral Management to oversee the accuracy and completeness of collateral records across systems and external counterparties. The role ensures timely reconciliation of positions, margin calls, and movements, and maintains a robust control framework.

You will coordinate with operations, risk, finance and external partners, provide guidance to junior team members, monitor KPIs, and participate in system enhancements to reduce operational risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• 3–5 years in financial operations or collateral management.
• Strong Excel and data integrity skills.
• Experience with reconciliation principles and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily collateral reconciliations and margin calls between records and counterparties.
• Identify and resolve breaks with proper documentation.
• Monitor aging and escalate high-risk discrepancies to management.
• Coordinate with operations, risk, finance and external partners.
• Support KPIs and guide junior team members.
• Contribute to system and process enhancements including UAT.
