Job summary

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is seeking a customer-focused bartender/barista to prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and tea, while maintaining quality and consistency. You will handle orders, ensure hygiene and food safety, and contribute to a fast-paced, guest-friendly bar environment.

Strong communication, attention to detail, basic cash handling and POS skills are valued. Fresh candidates welcomed; weekend and holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Bartender, Barista or F&B preferred.
• Fresh candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling and POS system skills.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
