GoKardz Technologies in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a COBOL Developer with over 4 years of experience in software development for credit card systems. Responsibilities include analysis, design, and production support, alongside maintaining test tools.

Ideal candidates will have skills in COBOL, JCL, MVS, and CICS programming. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential. The budget for this role is up to RM 13k.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in COBOL development.
• Ability to analyze and design technical specifications for software enhancements.
• Experience with development of CardLink Applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for analysis, design, and development of credit card system software.
• Support SIT and UAT for new enhancements.
• Investigate production incidents and provide interim solutions.

Job description

Responsible for Analysis, Design, Technical Specification and Development for credit cards system software enhancements or new projects in accordance to users’ provision.

Perform and support SIT and UAT for the enhancements that are being developed.

Supporting, maintaining, and monitoring of test tools for Credit Cards Production Support.

Production Support

• Investigate production incidents. Escalate issue to application supervisor and handle investigation.
• Provide interim application solution.
• Fix deployment.
• Application Service Pack testing.
