Job summary

RC Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Specialist to join our CNC Fabrication team. The successful candidate will operate CNC turning and mill-turn machines, set up and program Mazatrol, inspect parts, and help meet production targets safely and efficiently.

You should have a Diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years of CNC turning experience, with Mazatrol programming; Mill Turn experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Mazatrol programming experience is required.
• CNC Turning / Lathe experience (2–5 years) preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Willing to work on a shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Set up chucks, collets, tools, inserts, and workholding.
• Perform first-piece inspection and adjust tool offsets.

• Complete job routers, inspection plans, and QMS documents.
• Maintain machines and 5S and safety standards.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Specialist to join our CNC Fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC turning and mill-turn machining, machine setup, Mazatrol programming, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Operate and set up CNC Turning / Mill Turn machines.

Perform Mazatrol conversational programming and make necessary program adjustments.

Set up and adjust chucks, collets, tools, inserts, workholding, and related equipment.

Perform first-piece inspection and adjust tool offsets to maintain product dimensions.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

Monitor machining quality and troubleshoot machine, tooling, and dimensional issues.

Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity, quality, and tool life.

Complete job routers, inspection plans, QMS documents, and production records.

Maintain machines and work areas according to 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to meet production schedules.

About you

Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher / Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years of relevant CNC machining experience.

2–5 years of CNC Turning / Lathe experience preferred.

Experience in Mazatrol programming is required.

CNC Mill Turn experience will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of CNC machining, tooling, cutting parameters, and tool offsets.

Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality inspection.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work on a shift basis.
