Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Specialist to join our CNC Fabrication team in Penang. You will operate and set up CNC Turning and Mill Turn machines, perform Mazatrol programming, and ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include first-piece inspection, tool offset adjustments, interpreting drawings and GD&T, and collaborating with Production Planning, Quality, and Engineering to optimize productivity and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher / Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• 2–5 years of CNC Turning / Lathe experience preferred.
• Experience in Mazatrol programming is required.
• CNC Mill Turn experience will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of CNC machining, tooling, cutting parameters, and tool offsets.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality inspection.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity, quality, and tool life.
• Complete job routers, inspection plans, QMS documents, and production records.
• Maintain machines and work areas according to 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to meet production schedules.
