Job summary
Kanry Search in Malaysia Sepang is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate and monitor CNC machines for daily production. The role requires reading engineering drawings and tolerances, performing tooling adjustments, and ensuring parts meet specifications.
You will edit CNC programs, conduct trial runs, measure components with precision tools, and uphold safety and quality standards in a busy manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Machining or related field.
- 1–2 years CNC machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with CNC setup and basic editing.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor CNC machines for daily production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Perform CNC setup, tooling installation and parameter adjustments.
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs per production needs.
- Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspection before mass production.
- Measure components with vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Monitor quality and ensure parts meet drawings and standards.
- Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records and follow safety and quality procedures.
