Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Setter to prepare, set up, and operate production machinery. Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up machines based on production schedule and run production to meet target quantities.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and parts replacement; complete maintenance records.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure finished parts meet dimensional requirements and comply with ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100D standards.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Guide production operators and collaborate with programmers for tooling changes.
• Documentation & Safety: Record output and maintain housekeeping and safety on the shop floor.

The company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Setter. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating production machinery according to our schedule, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all manufactured components meet strict aerospace and industrial quality standards.

You will also guide production operators, monitor daily workflows, and play a key role in maintaining an efficient, safe, and organized shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up machines accurately based on the production schedule or as requested by the Production Leader; run production independently to meet planned target quantities.
2. 2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform machine troubleshooting, basic repairs, and parts replacement as needed; complete the Daily Checklist & Preventive Maintenance records.
3. 3. Quality Assurance: Ensure all finished parts meet strict dimensional requirements; strictly adhere to standard production requirements and comply with ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100D Quality Management Systems.
4. 4. Leadership & Collaboration: Monitor and assist production operators in their daily routines; collaborate with the programming team to retrieve or update programs and manage tooling changes.
5. 5. Documentation & Safety: Record output status accurately in production forms upon job completion; maintain excellent housekeeping and safety protocols at the workplace.
