About the role

Penta-Ventura Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a CNC Sales or CNC Service Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Johor Bahru. This is a full-time position that combines sales expertise with technical service knowledge in the CNC machinery sector. You will be responsible for driving sales growth whilst providing exceptional service support to our valued clients. This role is crucial to our business expansion and customer satisfaction objectives, bridging the gap between our engineering capabilities and market opportunities. Based in the Johor Bahru District, this position offers the opportunity to work within a growing industrial sales environment.

Key responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the CNC machinery market, actively prospecting potential clients and building a strong sales pipeline

Present CNC solutions and machinery to prospective customers, demonstrating technical specifications and business benefits

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closure

Provide technical support and service assistance to existing clients, ensuring their CNC equipment operates optimally and addressing any issues promptly

Maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their operational needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

Prepare and deliver detailed quotations, proposals and technical documentation to clients

Coordinate with the engineering and support teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded

Participate in industry events, exhibitions and trade shows to promote Penta-Ventura's CNC solutions and generate leads

Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities and service requests in the company's CRM system

Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and KPIs whilst maintaining profitability margins

What we're looking for

Proven track record in sales, preferably within the CNC machinery, industrial equipment or manufacturing sector

Strong technical knowledge or understanding of CNC machinery, specifications and industrial applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes and close deals in a competitive B2B environment

Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Flexibility to provide both sales support and after-sales service to clients as required

Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events

Relevant qualifications or certifications in sales, engineering or technical fields are advantageous
