Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on CNC Milling Operator to set up and run modern milling machines. You will read and interpret blueprints, translate instructions into precise machine commands, and ensure parts meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines per production requirements.
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand specifications.
• Translate instructions into machine commands to perform correct operations.
• Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Run tests to verify outputs meet specifications.
• Configure machines for full production cycles to fabricate parts.
• Supervise machines and adjust for improved results.
• Inspect finished parts against requirements to ensure quality.
• Maintain and check machinery daily for proper function.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to production requirements.
• Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Translates instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepares a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Sets machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Supervises the machines while they execute the tasks and makes any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspects and measures finished products and compares them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Checks and maintains machinery daily to ensure functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines or similar equipment.
• Basic understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
• Responsible, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Good math and basic computer skills.

• Ability to read measurement instruments and technical prints.
• Strong focus on workplace safety and attention to detail.
