Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to generate and optimize machine programs for our precision manufacturing processes in Penang. The role involves setting up machines, verifying programs against drawings, and guiding junior programmers on production floors.

The ideal candidate has a certificate or diploma in machining or related engineering and 5–8 years of CNC manufacturing experience, with strong CAM programming and jig/fixture design capabilities.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Machining/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
Experience in CNC manufacturing environment with hands-on CAM programming is essential.
Knowledge of Machining processes and jig & fixture design is required.

Responsibilities

Generate the machine programs for production runs.
Ensure all programs comply with drawings and product specifications.
Verify programs meet product specifications and guide machinists during setup and operation.
Ensure proper storage and management of programs and work instructions in the system.
Monitor material wastage and support production floor on urgent jobs.
Lead and guide Programmer 1 & 2 levels and optimize program paths to improve productivity.
Estimate process time for planners to assist production scheduling.
Ensure production safety and 5S practices are maintained and ISO requirements followed.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. To generate the machine program for the machine to run.
2. All programs complied with the drawing needed.
3. Verify to confirm the program meets the products meeting specification.
5. Guide machinist on machine setup, operation as per the program generated.
6. Ensure the program and WI of the program is stored and managed properly in the system.
7. Monitor and control material wastage.
8. To support the production floor on the urgency of the job.
9. To ensure the MES data is clearly provided to production planning to up-load to the MES system.
10. To lead / guide the programmer 1 & 2 level.
11. To optimize the program path / method to increase the production productivity.
12. Capable of estimating process time for planners to plan production.
13. To ensure production safety & 5S is carried out and maintained.
14. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
15. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Job Requirements

1. Certificate/Diploma in Machining/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent years to related experience.
2. At least 5-8 years working experience in CNC manufacturing industry.
3. CAM programming, setup machine, dimensional measurement, Machining Process and Jig & Fixture Design / Concept.
