Job summary

Improvage Precision Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a skilled machinist to read and interpret technical drawings and set up CNC and manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You will adjust machine settings for accuracy, inspect finished parts with calipers and micrometers, perform routine maintenance, and work with engineers to improve processes in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and precision in production.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams to improve processes.
