Job summary

HORIZONTECH INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join our Perai, Penang-based Engineering team. This on-site role requires operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict tolerances.

You will set up machines, read technical drawings, perform quality inspections and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC milling operations, programming, tool selection and setup.
Experience reading drawings and GD&T.
Ability to read CAM software and translate specs to machine operation.
Attention to detail and maintaining tight tolerances.
Good communication and teamwork for safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to drawings and specs.
Set up milling machines including tool installation, workpiece positioning and programming adjustments.
Monitor machine operations and adjust to maintain quality standards.
Inspect finished components with precision measurement tools and verify tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain records of production runs and machine performance.
