Job summary

ECA Advanced Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a machining technician to produce parts by operating CNC and manual machines. You will participate in CNC program upgrades, aim to save material and reduce cycle time while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role requires basic to advanced machining experience and the ability to read mechanical drawings. ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is desirable; you should be comfortable maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma in Machining/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent years of related experience.
• Preferably at least 2 years working experience in machining.
• Preferably able to run CNC Milling and / or manual machining machine
• Able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Understand ISO 9001 : 2015 requirement
• Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery.

Responsibilities

• Produces machine parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC/ manual machine.
• Involved in project improvement targeting on CNC Program upgrading, material saving and reduce cycle time.
• Maintaining quality & safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment & supplies.
• Any other job as assigned by management from time to time
