Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia seeks a Machining Supervisor to lead a team of CNC turn/mill operators in plastic component production. You will set priorities, monitor workflow, ensure safety, and drive quality across the production lifecycle.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in machining supervision as well as an engineering degree, with proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, SolidCAM, Alphacam, Cimatron). Shift work and ISO 9001 experience are preferred for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years as a Machining Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor
• Engineering degree in EE, Mechanical, or Mechatronic
• Able to work shift and manage technicians
• Experience in precision CNC Turning & Milling of plastics
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings
• Experience with CAD/CAM software: SolidWorks, SolidCAM, Alphacam, Cimatron

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily CNC turning and milling operations for plastic components
• Set priorities, drive results, and manage performance
• Plan schedules and monitor workflow to meet quality and cost targets
• Ensure safety of personnel and assets, and maintain 6S practices
• Oversee CNC programming/setup and monitor cutting parameters for plastics
• Coordinate with Engineering for NPI and process validation
