Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead CNC Turning and Milling teams for plastic components. You will ensure quality, safety and 6S, schedule daily tasks, and mentor operators and machinists across shifts.

Responsibilities include prioritizing workload, coordinating with Engineering for NPI and process validation, maintaining maintenance plans, and driving continuous improvement in cycle times and waste reduction.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Machining Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor.
Degree in engineering (EE, Mechanical or Mechatronic) with experience in managing technicians.
Able to work shift.
Experience in precision machining (CNC Turning & Milling) of plastic materials.
Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, SolidCAM, Alphacam, Cimatron) — advantage.
Working in ISO 9001:2015 environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities of CNC Turning and Milling operations for plastic component production.
Set priorities for the team, drive results, and manage performance.
Assess personnel and material levels to determine production schedules and monitor workflow.
Coordinate with Engineering for new product introduction (NPI) and process validation.
Maintain machine maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives including cycle time reduction and waste minimization.
