Job summary

OH TUNG SANG HARDWARE SDN BHD in Malaysia is hiring a CNC Operator to run Laser and Oxy Cutting machines. You will read engineering drawings and set up parameters to achieve accurate cuts while monitoring quality. Responsibilities include inspections, routine maintenance, and reporting delays.

Overtime may be required; team players who work well with others are preferred. EPF, SOCSO & EIS provided; annual leave and public holiday entitlement; overtime allowance; training and career advancement

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC Laser or Oxy Cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication, sheet metal processing and laser cutting operations.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
• Reliable, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Laser / Oxy Cutting machines safely and efficiently according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cutting plans.
• Set up machine parameters and programs to achieve accurate cutting results.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure product quality meets required standards.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on finished components.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or production delays to supervisors.
