Job summary

OH TUNG SANG HARDWARE Sdn Bhd is hiring a Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Operator (CNC Control) to operate CNC laser cutting machines, read engineering drawings, and set up parameters for accurate cutting. You will monitor processes, inspect finished parts, perform routine maintenance, and ensure on-time production while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC laser experience, ability to interpret fabrication drawings, and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication details.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication, sheet metal processing, and laser cutting operations.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Positive attitude and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Laser Cutting Machines safely and efficiently according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cutting plans.
• Set up machine parameters and programs to achieve accurate cutting results.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure product quality meets required standards.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on finished components.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or production delays to supervisors.
