Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead control system design for CNC machines and automation equipment.

You will develop electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and automation solutions; program PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and motion control; support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and after-sales service; and drive improvements in electrical design standards and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant electrical/automation field.
• Minimum 8 years of CNC machine or industrial automation electrical design experience.
• Proficient with Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc PLCs and on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical control system design for CNC machines and automation equipment.
• Develop schematics, cabinet layouts, and automation solutions.
• Program and optimize PLC, HMI, servo, and motion control systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
• Analyze and resolve complex electrical and automation issues.
• Develop electrical BOMs, technical documents, and manuals.
• Establish electrical design standards and improve processes.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, production, and customer teams.
• Support new product development and intelligent manufacturing projects.

Job Description

Job Requirements

• Strong experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, or similar PLC/control systems.
• Familiar with servo systems, industrial communication protocols, and motion control technology.
• Ability to independently complete electrical design and on-site commissioning.
• Proficient in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
