Job summary

Season Malaysia Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an experienced CMM Programmer to develop, modify, and maintain CMM programs for new and existing products. You will perform dimensional inspection and verify dimensions against drawings and customer requirements.

You will also analyze measurement data, prepare inspection reports, and support root cause investigations. The role works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and traceability of measurement data.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, Precision Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in CMM operation, programming, dimensional inspection, or metrology.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance).

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, modify, and maintain CMM programs for new and existing products.
• Perform dimensional measurement and inspection using CMM and other measuring equipment.
• Verify product dimensions against engineering drawings and customer requirements.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare inspection reports.
• Review dimensional results and identify non-conformances.
• Support root cause investigation related to dimensional and quality issues.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of measurement data.
• Support Engineering Validation Builds and NPI activities.
• Assist in capability studies, GR&R studies, and process validation activities.
• Provide dimensional measurement support for production and customer requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and suggest improvements to inspection methods.
