Job summary

Baycom Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Manager to drive design, development and delivery of Cloud, AI, CDN and Security solutions, coordinating between customers, partners, vendors, sales teams and technical groups.

You will lead pre-sales activities, develop solution architectures, manage proposals and tenders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee strategic technology initiatives to expand Baycom's regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in a client-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, TAM, Pre-sales, or Systems Integration).
• Knowledge of CDN, OTT platforms, streaming technologies, network architecture, AI cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Strong emotional intelligence to manage client expectations and navigate conversations.
• Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial and high-energy team.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and post-migration support, ensuring SLAs and best practices are followed.

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Manager to join the team to build our regional footprint.

OVERVIEW

Responsible for driving design, development and delivery of Cloud, AI, CDN & Security solutions. For coordinating between customers, partners, vendors, sales teams, and technical teams to develop solution architectures, support pre-sales activities, manage technical proposals and tenders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee strategic technology initiatives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Business Development Support, Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Support sales providing technical expertise during customer engagements.
• Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate architectures.

2.Project & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer requirements.
• Manage discussions between customers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Facilitate technical reviews and solution planning sessions.

3.Customer Deployment / Post Migration Support

• Lead deployment of tailored cloud solutions, ensuring all architectural designs executed on time and adhere to industry best practices.
• Act as technical escalation for post-deployment to troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents, manage incident response, and ensure strict adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Engage technology partners to evaluate products, services, and solution offerings.
• Obtain technical, commercial, and compliance information from vendors.
• Maintain strong working relationships with telco, cloud, CDN, and infra partners.
• Keep to date emerging technologies and new business opportunities.
• Monitor and keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements, policies, standards, and guidelines issued by MCMC and other relevant authorities.
• Contribute to product positioning and market strategy.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Pre-sales, or Systems Integration.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & Services such as Content Delivery Networks (CDN); OTT Platforms & Streaming Technologies; Network Architecture & Internet Transit, AI Cloud Infrastructure and Cybersecurity
• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues on the fly and design scalable workarounds.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts, architectures, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Excellent emotional intelligence with ability to manage client expectations, push back gently when necessary, and navigate difficult conversations.
• Proven ability to work in a small, entrepreneurial and high energy team.
