Job summary

Grab is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will administer and optimize cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, while developing automation and reliable scripts.

The role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, incident troubleshooting, and documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years in cloud infrastructure support or administration.
• Scripting knowledge in Python (or similar).
• Working knowledge of AWS and other cloud providers.
• Exposure to automating tasks with serverless or workflow platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, or Linux.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Deploy and support API integrations, webhooks, and basic workflow automations.
• Support infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
• Write and maintain operational scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Monitor system performance and perform routine checks; assist with root-cause analysis.
• Provide initial troubleshooting for infrastructure, network, and identity issues.
• Maintain clear documentation for SOPs, configurations, and playbooks.
