Job summary

iZeno, part of Logicalis Asia Pacific, seeks an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on Elastic Stack, Grafana, Kafka, and IaC with Terraform/Ansible.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments. 3+ years in cloud operations required; bachelor’s degree in CS/IT preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Cloud operations with a track record of setup and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Total IT work experience of 5+ years.
• Systematic approach to operations and maintenance; proficient in Linux and networking.
• Practical expertise in managing large-scale distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Solid understanding of cloud frameworks and services.
• Experience with design and operation of Kafka solutions (Confluent, Kafka, RedHat AMQ, Amazon MKS).
• Familiarity with automation scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong knowledge of Elastic stack for log management and analysis.
• Experience in configuring and managing Grafana.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
• Implement and configure cloud services including VMs, containers, serverless, networking, and storage.
• Set up Elastic stack components for log management, monitoring, and analysis.
• Configure Grafana with various data sources.
• Develop and implement IaC templates for deployment and provisioning.
• Integrate cloud services with on-premises systems or other clouds.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud performance, including Elastic stack and MongoDB.
• Implement robust security measures for cloud resources, data, and apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth implementation and operation.
• Document procedures, configurations, and best practices.
• Stay updated with latest cloud technologies and trends.
