Hytech, a leading management consulting firm, seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability of AWS infrastructure, implement auto-scaling, and deploy observability tools. The role involves IaC, cost optimization, and collaboration with multiple teams, with shift rotations and additional compensation.

Requirements include 2+ years in SRE/Wintel roles, strong scripting, networking knowledge, and English plus Chinese language skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an SRE, Wintel Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience in Wintel platforms; on-premise experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP, IP, Routing) and AWS core services (EC2, Load Balancer, VPC, SSM, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS Lambda is a plus.
• Certifications with AWS, security, or other infrastructure are advantageous.
• Shift rotation is required with extra compensation.
• Ability to speak and converse in both English and Chinese.

Responsabilidades

• Automate repetitive tasks, workflows, and deployments using scripting or various technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible).
• Deploy observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch) for system health monitoring.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable provisioning.
• Optimize AWS resource utilization to reduce cloud costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support across our internal team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to ensure processes align with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Working Hours

• 9am - 6pm (Monday to Friday) during the first 1-2 months of job training.
• 24x7 on‑site shift rotation with competitive shift allowance (5 days of work per week).

Work Location

• KL Eco City (Accessible via LRT and KTM)
