Job summary

Pointstar in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Cloud Specialist (Data Analytics) to design data solutions on Google Cloud Platform and to build data warehouses with ETL processes, data marts, and dashboards.

The role requires 3–5 years in Business Analytics, Data Engineering or Data Science, plus experience with Kubernetes or Anthos. You will collaborate with sales and technical teams to deliver scalable cloud data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Engineering or Data Science.
• Experience deploying multi/hybrid-cloud platforms (Kubernetes, Anthos) is a plus.
• Strong logical/analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design data solutions aligned to Google Cloud Platform security and design standards.
• Design and implement data warehouse architectures, ETL processes, data marts.
• Ingest, process, and visualise data through dashboards on Google Cloud Platform or other solutions.
• Provide task estimates and contribute to solution architecture.
• Document technical solutions and ensure production readiness criteria are met.
• Respond promptly to platform technical issues and support cloud opportunities with sales teams.
