Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking a Cloud Application Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications for industry and hybrid cloud environments. You will build microservices, apply DevSecOps, and ensure secure, scalable software across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

With 3+ years of cloud experience, proficiency in C#, Angular, Python, Java, and JavaScript, you will collaborate across teams to deliver responsive interfaces and robust cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud application development and architecture using major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Angular, Python, Java, JavaScript) and scripting for cloud-based applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, and software containerization techniques.
• Having experience with DevSecOps processes, automation tools, and frameworks is a plus.
• Strong foundation in cloud-native application design principles, database engineering, and network/data management.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven ability to apply Agile methodologies in developing and managing cloud-based solutions, involve in software development process from requirement, analysis and design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Experience in frontend, mid-tier, backend development using Azure frameworks.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles for mobile, PC and server platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
