Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver basic nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and support the ward team. The role requires adherence to hospital standards and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support knowledge is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and report incidents to concerned authorities.
• Notify nursing leaders of situations affecting quality of care.
• Attend ward rounds, prepare beds, and assist patients with daily living activities.
• Transport patients to theatre and other services as needed.
• Record charges and manage ward stocks and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness of ward, store, and equipment; assist in procedures.
