Job summary

MAFAR GROUP SDN BHD's Klinik Primehealth Elmina in Shah Alam seeks a Clinic Assistant / Medical Assistant / Staff Nurse to support doctors and deliver patient care in a busy clinic.

The role covers patient registration, vitals, basic procedures, room preparation, and appointment management, with weekend work if required. Fresh graduates are welcome; prior healthcare experience is a plus; good communication and independence are valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assistant, Healthcare, Nursing or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work weekends/public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and healthcare professionals in patient care.
• Register patients and manage records accurately.
• Record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse).
• Assist during examinations and minor procedures.
• Prepare consultation rooms and equipment.
• Dispense medications as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment.
• Manage appointments and patient inquiries.

CLINIC ASSISTANT / MEDICAL ASSISTANT / STAFF NURSE

Location: Klinik Primehealth Elmina, Shah Alam
Employment Type: Contract/ Fulltime

Job Responsibilities

Assist doctors and healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care.

Register patients and manage patient records accurately.

Take and record patients' vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, etc.).

Assist during medical examinations and minor procedures.

Prepare consultation rooms and medical equipment.

Dispense medication as instructed by the doctor.

Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of medical equipment and clinic facilities.

Manage appointment scheduling and patient enquiries.

Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in Medical Assistant, Healthcare, Nursing, or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting will be an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Computer literate and familiar with basic Microsoft Office applications.

Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
