Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, seeks a valuation pricing professional to deliver accurate portfolio securities valuation for funds under administration. You will support global business in a rotating shift from 7:00am to 12:00pm MYT, contributing to timely FX and interest rate pricing and customer support.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance, with knowledge of investment instruments and experience in banking operations.

• Banking operations experience with basic static data knowledge
• Experience in an operations environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily securities valuation for funds administered, including pricing, FX & rates, stale price analysis, customer support, EUC updates
• Operate Global Servicing from the local site, including shifts, holidays and weekends when required
• Maintain up-to-date statistics and daily team checklists
• Maintain relationships with management lines
• Ensure timely resolution of enquiries and escalate issues when needed

Reporting to the Manager, MDS Pricing team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of security pricing valuation.

You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day. Shift hours would be on rotational basis and starts between 7:00am MYT to 12:00pm MYT.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the day-to-day deliverables: Delivery of portfolio securities valuation for fund administered including Security Pricing, FX & Interest Rates, Stale Price Analysis, Customer Support, EUCs Update
• Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (includes shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)
• Maintain statistics up to date (including daily team checklist update)
• Maintain organizational relationship with Management line
• Ensure effective resolution of enquiries

Position with management No Minimum level of study Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent Training / Specialization

• Any relevant tertiary education - Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.
• Knowledge of different investment instrument types
• Banking experience in operations with basic static data knowledge.
• Experience in operation environment.

Minimum experience level 0-2 years IT tools

• Knowledge in data vendors i.e. Bloomberg / Telekurs / FTID / Reuters
• Competent in MS office particularly Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge in Excel VBA
