CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Client Operations Officer for Master Data Services (Static Data) to maintain and update static data across MDC and GP. You will handle market data from providers and execute corporate actions, ensuring timely responses to inquiries from global clients while supporting 24/5 operations from Putrajaya.

The role requires proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and MS Office, plus banking operations experience with static data and corporate actions.

Qualifications

Familiar with core platforms: MDC and GP.
Knowledge of Bloomberg or other service providers is a plus.
Competent in MS Office especially Excel.
Banking ops experience with static data and corporate actions knowledge.

Responsibilities

Control and validate market data from providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
Analyze and execute corporate actions (dividends, spin-offs, splits).
Ensure timely handling of internal/external enquiries with high quality.
Own Global Servicing from the operation location, including shifts and holidays.
Promote deliverable quality by coaching and developing team members.
Support cross-training and rotation to boost efficiency and reduce risk.
Periodically review processes to refresh requirements and compliance.

Client Operations Officer, Master Data Services (Static Data)

CACEIS Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems.

You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day.

Shift hours would be between 8:00am and 5:00pm (Malaysia time)

What will you do?

Control and validate market data coming from data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
Analyze and execute the corporate action event (dividend, spin off, shares split, etc.)
Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high-quality standard
Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (including shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)
Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members
Ensure cross training and rotation of duties occurs on a regular basis to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk
Periodic review of process to refresh understanding of requirements and review for compliance

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Familiar with core platforms: MDC and all the GP
Knowledge in Bloomberg or other service providers will be an added advantage.
Competent in MS office especially Excel
Banking experience in operations with basic static data and corporate action knowledge.
