Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, based in IOI City, Putrajaya, is seeking a junior issuer services professional to manage day-to-day issuer activities with a client-first mindset. You will work closely with Risk, Compliance and Change programs to support regulatory requirements and internal audits, contributing to a high-quality service delivery.

The role offers exposure to securities, settlement workflows, and interaction with external partners across Europe, with a focus on accuracy, governance, and process

Qualifications

• Knowledge in capital markets, securities or financial services.
• Solid theoretical knowledge of securities and financial instruments.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and risk mind-set.
• Display leadership attributes and ability to work effectively as part of a team while being autonomous in carrying out your assignments.
• Knowledge in MS Office – Excel, Word and VBA.
• Proficient in English (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Set up issuances with the issuer, legal advisors and clearing houses.
• Create securities in the corporate trust reference system.
• Monitor delivery and settlement instructions for primary market.
• Submit listing applications to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
• Process rate notifications from Calculation Agents.
• Check completeness of notifications and contract term consistency.
• Coordinate with Calculation Agents for any doubt or missing notification.
• Notify rates and amounts to clearing houses.
• Process cash flows for interest payments and redemptions.
• Verify amounts payable to clearing houses by positions.
• Request funds from issuers before deadlines.
• Execute payments to clearing houses.
• Handle daily processing of clean cash payments and reconciliations.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Issuer services activities. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal stakeholders with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mind-set. You will be responsible to define an appropriate control and governance to support the operations and to meet the regulatory requirements, closely working with Risk, Compliance and Change programs to support group’s initiative as well as assist with Internal and External Audit and Regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

• Setting up issuances with the issuer, their legal advisors and the clearing houses;
• Creating securities in the corporate trust reference system;
• Monitoring delivery and settlement instructions for securities placed on the primary market;
• Submitting listing applications to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
• Processing rate notifications received from Calculation Agents:
• Checking the completeness of notifications received and the consistency of the information with the contractual terms of the issuances
• Liaising with Calculation Agents in case of any doubt or missing notification;
• Notifying rates and amounts to be paid to the clearing houses based on the contractual terms;
• Processing cash flows related to interest payments and redemptions:
• Verifying the amounts to be paid to each clearing house according to the positions held;
• Requesting the necessary funds from issuers within the required deadlines;
• Executing payments to the clearing houses.
• Perform processing of clean cash payments (Pre and Post-Execution) daily : input, verify, validate and reconcile either electronically or manually across sub-custodians.
