Job summary

WD is seeking an operator to handle disk substrates and operate manufacturing process equipment within a controlled cleanroom. You will perform data entry, maintain logs, and support chemical makeup, transfer, and inventory management under strict safety SOPs.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, SPM or equivalent, shift flexibility, and basic MS Excel skills. WD offers a hands-on environment with safety-focused training and opportunities to learn across process areas.

Qualifications

• Good analytical skills and ability to enter and verify data accurately with minimal errors.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle disk substrates and operate process equipment following SOPs.
• Perform data entry, maintain production records, and log equipment data.
• Assist in chemical makeup, transfer, storage, disposal per MSDS/SDS and safety policies.
• Inventory counts, labeling, and proper storage of consumables and materials.
• Monitor process parameters, perform adjustments, and escalate issues to engineers.
• Maintain cleanroom compliance and wear PPE; ensure safe operations.
