Job summary

Western Digital Corporation in the Sarawak Kuching Office is seeking a manufacturing operator to operate process equipment and handle disk substrates within a controlled cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, SPM or equivalent, and be able to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have SPM or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload disk substrates on process equipment per SOPs.
• Handle substrates to prevent contamination or damage; ensure traceability.
• Accurately key process data and maintain equipment logs in manufacturing systems.
• Assist in chemical makeup, transfer, and safe handling of chemicals per MSDS/SDS guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and labeling; participate in 7S housekeeping and safety compliance.
