Job summary

Western Digital in Penang, Malaysia seeks a quality control inspector to perform shift-based visual inspections, document findings, and support production quality. You will collaborate with production, QC leaders, and engineers to maintain high standards and ensure accurate daily reports.

The role requires handling multiple areas and willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. Minimum 2 years in manufacturing and SPM or equivalent are required, with preferred MS Excel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required
• Provide training to technicians new to the role when applicable
• Follow housekeeping & safety and health rules
• Willing to work in the cleanroom environment
• May required to learn up more than one working area and flexible to work at area assigned

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• SPM orequivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge in MS EXCEL
