Responsibilities

• Operate buffing and scrubbing machines safely and correctly.
• Keep cleaning tools and equipment tidy and stored properly for the day.
• Inform Supervisors about any difficulties to improve methods.

About the role The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our facilities team. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. To clean respective areas or undertake a special duty as assigned.

2. To follow the cleaning procedures strictly for the respective areas or tasks.

3. To handle the various cleaning equipment such as the buffing or scrubbing machines properly.

4. To keep tools, equipment and respective store for the day clean at all times.

5. To highlight to Supervisors on any difficulties during cleaning so that a more effective method will be deployed.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. SPM holder.

2. Able to communicate in Malay and English.

3. Can work according to the schedule set by the Head of Section (including weekends, public holidays and night, as and when needed)
