Job summary

Cigna Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a General Clerk Associate Representative to join the Provider Intake department. The role involves organizing and processing incoming and outgoing documents (electronic) in a back-office environment.

You will handle intake documents, vet claims for payment, transfer data electronically, triage provider claims with members, perform data entry and verification, and support ad-hoc tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
• 1–3 years in administrative/data-entry roles.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake documents and data entry in a back-office setting.
• Sort, process and vet claims for payment.
• Electronic transfer of received claims to the various platforms.
• Triaging the flow between members and provider claims.
• Perform data entry and verification tasks.
• Peer to Peer Validation Checks.
• Triaging the flow of Provider claims - Data Governance.
• Work with numbers (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Use word processing, spreadsheet, database or other software on a computer.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks.
