Job summary

MKRS Bumi (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a scaffolding safety specialist to support EPCC, Operations and Training with expertise in ISO standards and CIDB Act.

You will prepare drawings, analyses and method statements for scaffolding; advise on planning, risk assessments, and compliance; and participate in client meetings to align project kickoff and schedules. Strong technical communication is required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with ISO 45001:2018 and CIDB Act.
• Experience preparing scaffolding drawings and design proposals.
• Ability to assess safety and compliance in scaffolding projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice for EPCC, BD, Operations and Training.
• Prepare scaffolding designs, calculations, sketches and method statements.
• Assess and approve HSE documents and procedures for clients and authorities.
• Attend client site or kickoff meetings to align on planning and schedules.
• Support site investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure ISO 45001:2018 compliance and assist with audits.

JOB SUMMARY

• Must have good understanding of working procedures ISO 45001 : 2018 , CIDB Act, international standards and practices pertaining to scaffolding safety, integrity and accessibility.
• Support for EPCC, Business Development, Operation and Training Department for technical advise.
• Experience in calculate and prepare drawing for civil, structural and scaffolding erection works.
• Prepare, analyze and approve scaffolding design proposals / reports, calculations, sketches, method statements and HSE related documents and to assess the scaffolding procedures and submit to client / Operation / authority bodies.
• Participate in client site meetings or direct meetings with clients management personnel during the kick-off to advise EPCC & Operation on planning to ensure alignment with project commencement & overall schedules.
• To support EPCC & Operation department and manage for site investigation.
• Support quality in the development or redesign of products and test procedures to meet quality standards
• Advise on the risks identified by the Risk Assessment Report and identifies the resources required to ensure the scaffolding operations are carried out safely.
• Advise with support by EPCC, BD Department on material, manpower planning, project costing before execution of new projects, tender exercise, RFQ exercise and handover to Operation Department.
• Analyze and advise post mortem report issued by EPCC & Operation for improvement.
• Support for EPCC, marketing products and services.
• Coordinate internal audit in quarterly basis to ensure all ISO 45001 : 2018 compliance requirements and asset management are maintained and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• To perform any other tasks as requested by the superiors and management and to generally, perform all administrative work.
• To strictly adhere to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 auditing SOP requirement and documentation.
