Job summary

VED Engineers Sdn Bhd seeks a Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team in Kota Damansara or Puchong. The role focuses on design, analysis and implementation of civil and structural projects, ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will prepare drawings, conduct feasibility studies, and collaborate with architects and contractors to meet project goals. Expect opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–5 years of post‑graduation civil/structural design and analysis experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, PROTA, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 or similar.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations.
• Competency in AutoCAD and other design software for drawings.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good English and Malay communication; Mandarin is a plus.
• Fresh graduates and junior level may apply for entry positions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems using advanced engineering software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies.
• Perform structural calculations and ensure code compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with consultants.
• Monitor on-site progress and provide technical support.
• Resolve engineering challenges during project execution.
