Job summary

VED Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team in Kota Damansara or Puchong, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on design, analysis, and implementation of civil and structural projects.

The candidate will design structural systems, prepare drawings and specifications, conduct site inspections, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with codes. Requires 2–5 years post-graduation and proficiency in ETABS, PROTA, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–5 years of post-graduation experience in civil and structural design/analysis.
• Proficiency in ETABS, PROTA, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations applicable to construction projects.
• Competency in AutoCAD and other design software for technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good communication in English and Malay; Mandarin is an added advantage.

This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the design, analysis, and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that meet technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements. Key responsibilities

Design and analyse structural systems using advanced engineering software and industry-standard tools

Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for civil and structural projects

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

Minimum 2-5 years of post-graduation experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, PROTA, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools

Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to construction projects

Competency in AutoCAD and other design software for preparing technical drawings

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Effective communication skills in English and Malay (both written and verbal), Mandarin is an added advantage.

Preferred experience in projects such as building construction, infrastructure, or civil works

Fresh graduates and Junior level are encouraged to apply for entry-level positions.

Candidate may consider to work in VED HQ in Puchong if staying nearby.
