Job summary

PROMPT ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design and draft structural solutions for residential and commercial projects in Georgetown, Penang.

You will produce precise AutoCAD drawings and perform calculations under Australian standards where applicable, while coordinating with a skilled team. A strong English proficiency is required, with experience in planning and document control.

Qualifications

• Fluently speaking and written in English
• Proven planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of construction methods and health and safety
• Passion in structural engineering and construction industry
• Experience with Australian standards (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural and civil design and drawings for residential and commercial projects using AutoCAD to a high standard
• Prepare design calculations and structural analyses for review
• Organise workflow with initiative and independence, maintain project records
• Apply engineering techniques, codes, standards and criteria to projects
• Assist with continuous improvement of the department's technical capacity
• Undertake tasks as directed by Senior/Principal Engineers
• Maintain project documents and ensure uploads to Prompt System
• Support professional development and career growth
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and team environment
