Job summary

Wallbilt Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contractual aspects for civil engineering and construction projects in Malaysia. The role covers quantity take-offs, cost estimates, tender submissions, and contract administration.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, good Excel skills, and be able to travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience in civil engineering/construction projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, measurement, costing and contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BQ and cost estimates.
• Prepare and evaluate tender submissions.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
• Conduct site measurements and verify work progress.
• Prepare client progress claims and subcontractor payment assessments.
• Manage Variation Orders and additional works.
• Administer contracts and assist with EOT and other contractual claims.
• Prepare cost reports and cash-flow forecasts.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier commercial matters.
