Job summary

Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineer (Project Development) to support bid and project development for ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects in Malaysia. You will transform SI reports and topographic data into workable site packages, including grading, drainage, and piling recommendations, under guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D (surfaces, grading, corridors, volume calculations).
• Some exposure to drainage design principles and stormwater calculation methods.
• Willingness and ability to read geotechnical/SI reports (SPT data, weathering grades, groundwater data).
• Good communication and a collaborative attitude—works with senior engineers, clients, and internal teams.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Topographic simulation and slope analysis using Civil 3D to support array layout.
• Earthworks and grading design: develop cut and fill plans and calculate volumes.
• Drainage and retention pond design aligned with grading plans; size and design ponds and outlet structures.
• Geotechnical interpretation: read SI reports and map subsurface conditions; support piling input.
• Bid and project support: prepare drawings, take-offs, and technical write-ups; coordinate with consultants.
