Familiar with steel lifting, erection, welding, high-strength bolted connections and roofing/cladding systems.
Able to read structural drawings and coordinate effectively with teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Review structural steel drawings, conduct technical briefings and resolve technical issues on site.
Monitor installation progress of steel columns, beams, roofs and cladding to meet project schedule.
Coordinate with clients and consultants for site inspections, work inspections and project handover.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job description

Manage and supervise civil and structural steel works for an industrial factory project, with a focus on steel structure lifting, erection, installation and site coordination.

Key responsibilities

Review structural steel drawings, conduct technical briefings and resolve technical issues on site
Monitor the installation progress of steel columns, beams, roof structures and cladding systems to ensure works are completed according to the project schedule
Coordinate with clients and consultants for site inspections, work inspections, technical discussions and project handover
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in civil or structural steel construction
Familiar with steel structure lifting, erection, installation, welding, high-strength bolted connections and roofing/cladding systems
Able to read and interpret structural steel drawings independently, with good site coordination and subcontractor management skills
Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to coordinate effectively with Chinese management teams and local subcontractors
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and other relevant engineering software
