Job summary

SNA Energy (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Civil/Structural Site Supervisor to plan, design, and supervise civil and structural works for petrochemical plant facilities in Malaysia.

The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating foundation and infrastructure construction, and ensuring compliance with project specs and HSE requirements. You will monitor progress, liaise with disciplines, inspect QA/QC, review ITPs, and support commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/structural construction on petrochemical projects preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines on site.
• Familiar with QA/QC and ITP processes.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Coordinate foundations, equipment bases, pipe racks, roads, drainage, buildings and other infrastructure.
• Ensure civil works comply with approved designs, project specs, codes and HSE requirements.
• Monitor contractors' progress, quality, manpower, materials and construction activities.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Inspect construction works and implement QA/QC procedures.
• Review method statements, ITPs, material submissions and proposals.
• Monitor schedules and identify delays; support corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate rectification of defects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities on civil/structural matters.

• Coordinate the construction of foundations, equipment bases, pipe racks, roads, drainage systems, buildings, and other infrastructure
• Ensure civil works comply with approved designs, project specifications, applicable codes, and HSE requirements
• Monitor contractors' work progress, quality, manpower, materials, and construction activities
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, and other engineering disciplines to resolve site issues and interface requirements
• Inspect construction works and ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures
• Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submissions, and technical proposals
• Monitor project schedules, identify construction delays, and support corrective actions
• Conduct site inspections, identify defects or non-conformities, and coordinate rectification works
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on civil and structural matters

• Ensure construction activities are carried out safely and in accordance with petrochemical industry standards and site procedures
• Prepare progress reports, technical reports, inspection records, and other project documentation
