Job summary

Euroclear Bank in Malaysia seeks a capable professional to support FundsPlace teams by building automation and analytics using VBA/SQL, Power Platform, Power BI, and UIPath. You will document solutions, manage risks, and share best practices with end-users.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in financial services or investment operations, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies while coordinating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting FundsPlace operational teams in achieving their objectives by leveraging a structured citizen developer framework, including solution development, lifecycle management, and risk compliance.
• Reviewing, challenging, and proposing business and technical solutions with end-users, including operational process flow reviews.
• Developing tools, queries, and automation solutions using MS Office, VBA, SQL, and technologies such as Power Platform, Power BI, and UIPath (Robotics).
• Building and maintaining proper documentation for all tools and solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with operational risk boundaries and frameworks.
• Sharing best practices and knowledge with end-users and team members.
• Monitoring progress, reporting issues, and communicating updates regularly.
• Leading initiatives independently while collaborating with the team.
• Interacting with senior stakeholders with support from management.

The role consists mainly of (but is not limited to):

Supporting FundsPlace operational teams in achieving their objectives by leveraging a structured citizen developer framework, including solution development, lifecycle management, and risk compliance

3:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Malaysia time)
