Job summary
Jora Malaysia seeks a Project Engineer for our chocolate and confectionery processing plant. You will plan, execute, and oversee CAPEX projects, including equipment upgrades, line expansions, and utility installations, to optimize production.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project engineering experience in food manufacturing, with familiarity in chocolate processing lines and PLC automation. This role is based on-site and requires strict adherence to GMP/HACCP/Halal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline relevant to chocolate manufacturing.
- 3–5 years of project engineering experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience with confectionery processing and PLC automation knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and oversee CAPEX projects from initiation to handover.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
- Ensure GMP/HACCP/Halal compliance for modifications and layouts.
