Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a Project Manager Chip Development to drive energy-efficient power semiconductor technologies. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team, manage projects end-to-end, and shape design experiments for cutting-edge fabs while reporting to senior leadership.

The role requires a strong semiconductor background, 5+ years in the field and 3+ years in project management, with willingness to work in Kulim or Penang. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor physics or microelectronics; PhD a plus.
• At least 5 years in semiconductor chip technology, with 3+ years in project management.
• Strong understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish: objectives, schedules, risk responses.
• Coordinate multi-cultural team members and keep stakeholders aligned on progress.
• Represent the team to leadership with credible project status updates.
• Create and maintain chip technology specifications and assess trade-offs.
• Define design and process experiments for world-leading fabs and report results.
• Address deviations, drive cross-functional issue resolution and explore new concepts.
