Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or reputation management.
• At least five (5) years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Experience in financial services, investment, public sector, GLCs, or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of strategic communications, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and digital communications.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of integrated communications strategy reflecting institutional positioning and priorities.
• Shape narratives and messaging across channels for stakeholders and leadership alignment.
• Translate corporate strategy into clear, consistent messaging, coordinating with senior leadership.
• Enhance KWAP's visibility and influence through strategic positioning across platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, government agencies, industry bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Develop stakeholder, media, and digital intelligence capabilities to identify trends and opportunities.
• Provide timely insights on stakeholder sentiment and public discourse; advise on reputational considerations.
• Lead planning and delivery of integrated programmes across earned, owned, and digital channels.
• Drive digital engagement initiatives to expand KWAP's institutional reach.
• Oversee governance, policies, standards, and capability development within the function.
• Lead internal communications to align organization with strategic priorities and drive engagement.
