Job summary

EB FROZEN FOOD SDN. BHD. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Malaysia to lead corporate finance, planning, treasury and IPO readiness for a leading frozen food manufacturer.

The role requires strong experience in multinational environments and a strategic finance mindset to drive growth. Kulim Hi-Tech Park-based position with strong leadership opportunities. Candidates should have a finance or accounting degree, professional certifications, and fluency in English, Chinese and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA or MIA membership would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years as CFO in listed or multinational companies.
• Strong corporate finance, accounting principles, regulatory frameworks and risk management.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and analysis.
• Familiarity with IPO preparation, investor relations or capital market reporting.
• Fluency in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Corporate Finance & Transactions

Lead financing, fundraising, M&A and due diligence activities.

Evaluate investments (return on capital), partnership and strategic transactions.

Strategic Financial Leadership, Planning & Analysis

Optimize the financing structure and reduce financing costs

Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's goals and growth plans.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Manage cash flow, liquidity and banking relationships.

Oversee capital structure, debt facilities and investment policies.

Optimize working capital and financing arrangements.

Public Listing (IPO) Preparation & Governance

Lead and oversee IPO preparation initiatives, including financial due diligence, corporate restructuring, governance enhancement and readiness assessment, while coordinating with advisors, auditors, investment bankers and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance and successful market entry.

Understand and evaluate the business model to enhance the company’s valuation for IPO

Equity Incentives Planning

Plan & Implement equity incentives for the core management team

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

Professional certifications such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) would be an added advantage.

Minimum of 3 years working as a CFO in listed or multinational companies.

Must have corporate finance background with strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.

Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and analysis with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.

Familiarity with IPO preparation, investor relations or capital market reporting.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia in both written and spoken.

Candidates with working experience in manufacturing line will be an added advantage.

Willing to work at Kulim Hi-Tech Park.
