Job summary

Misc Group is looking for a Chief Engineer to oversee the Engine Department on LNG-powered vessels, ensuring safe operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. You will lead engineering personnel and coordinate maintenance programs to maintain high reliability.

You will ensure adherence to international regulations and company standards, while optimizing safety, performance and costs. STCW, COC and IGF Code certifications are required, with LNG DF experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• STCW, COC and IGF Code certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year Time-in-Rank on LNG Motor vessels.
• If coming from non-LNG fleets, minimum 2 years LNG Dual-Fuel vessel experience.
• XDF/MEGI engine experience will be an advantage.
