Job summary

IOI Corporation in Malaysia seeks a QC/QC Laboratory professional to oversee QC activities, review and release products meeting specifications and regulatory expectations. The role involves implementing QMS/ISO17025 controls in the QC lab and supporting production with quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will also support SAP-based processes, test method development, validation, and investigations of customer complaints, coordinating with QA and other departments

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry/Industry chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Food Science or equivalent discipline.
• Experience in QC laboratory or chemical testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure smooth operation of QC activities.
• Responsible for final review and release of products that meet approved specs and regulatory expectations.
• Implement and document control related to Quality Management System & ISO17025 in QC Laboratory.
• Assist production in troubleshooting product quality issues and in plant continuous improvement projects.
• Implementation of S4-Hana and handling of new spec code creation and approval.
• Develop new test methods; perform method validation/verification and troubleshooting.
• Investigate customer complaints issued to QC Department.
• Liaise with QA, Production and other departments to communicate quality issues and decisions.

• Prefer minimum 2 years working experience in chemical testing or QC laboratory.
• Degree in Chemistry/Industry chemistry/ Biochemistry/Food Science or equivalent discipline.

• Prefer to have knowledge and experience in SAP, instrumentation troubleshooting and method development & validation.
